St Andrews Way Berrys Bay & Woollamia Villages Pressure Sewerage Scheme

Client

Project Value

$4.5M

Location:

Coolangatta and Woollamia NSW

Industry:

Low Pressure Sewerage

Project Requirements:

Provide a closed loop sewerage system for the villages of Woollamia, Berrys Bay & St Andrews on the South Coast of NSW. Existing septic systems are harmful to the environment especially in areas adjacent to river systems.

The project involved the supply and installation 115 Pressure Sewer Units, 7500m Pressure Sewer Mains, Pump Station Refurbishment including Epoxy Coating, Dosing Unit, Bund Slab and Access Road, Barometric Loop and Associated Works.

Part of the Pressure Sewer Unit installation works includes the management of 115 property owners as each property required infrastructure to be installed, Ledonne Constructions was required to liaise with each and every property owner to organise and complete the scope. Ledonne Constructions has developed sound community management procedures over its past Pressure Sewerage Schemes and this project was equally as successful

Project difficulties that were overcome included the December/January Bushfires and the following floods, re-programming and re-scheduling works to accommodate lengthy AHIP Salvage Works and a second flood in August 2020 as a result of an East Coast Low.
