Ledonne Release – Three Contracts Awarded in April


Ledonne Constructions is thrilled to announce the award of a further three civil infrastructure projects, with a combined construction value of over $10 million! They are;

1. Connection of the Woody Head Campground to the Iluka STP, Iluka NSW

2. Wallaga Lake Koori Village Sewerage Scheme, Bermagui NSW

3. North Shore Pressure Sewer Scheme, Port Macquarie NSW

Stockdale Road Sewer Augmentation

Stockdale Road Sewer Augmentation
Client: Gippsland Water Description of role: Installation of 2kms of 525 GRP Pipeline, which includes;1km of this via trenchless method under Stockdale Road, Traralgon and the construction of concrete piers for a pipeline bridge crossing. Also includes construction of 15 concrete manholes, and the connection of new pipeline into the existing Traralgon WWTP.
Contract: 20 weeks
Value: $2-3 million

This is the second contract Ledonne Constructions has been awarded for Gippsland Water, based on the client-customer relationship built during the Loch Sport Sewerage Scheme – Stage 2 project. The works consist of;

  1. Construction of 530mm OD GRP gravity sewer by trenchless technique between L/20 to MH14;
  2. Construction of 15 1200mm diameter maintenance holes (MH1 to MH15);
  3. Construction of 530mm OD GRP pressure sewer by trenching between HM14 and west side of services bridge at Traralgon River;
  4. Construction of 610mm OD MSCL sewer pipe on services bridge crossing;
  5. Construction of 530mm OD and 450mm OD sewer line between east side of bridge and barometric loop at the Traralgon Waste Water Treatment Plant.

Client: Coffs Harbour City Council Description of role: Construction of Sewer Pumping Station and concrete pump well by secant pile method, including construction of valve pits and other structures for odour control, chemical dosing and access to the pump station. Installation of submersible pump sets and electrical controls for the pump station.
Contract: 44 weeks
Value: $ 4 million

This pump station is the final piece of Coffs Harbour’s $250 million Coffs Harbour Sewerage Strategy. After completing the Gravity Sewer Pipeline Construction project at the same site, we are proud to continue our good working relationship with Coffs Harbour City Council. The works on this contract include;

  • Construction of a reinforced concrete wet well 10m diameter & 10m deep via secant pile method. The wet well will be made up of approximately 20 tonnes of steel and 250 cubic metres of high strength concrete
  • Construction of a double skin (brick & block) Switchroom c/w generator room and Amenities
  • Construction of reinforced concrete Valve & Flowmeter Pits
  • Construction of reinforced concrete Biofilter slab & installation of Biofilter system
  • Construction of Dosing Unit foundations &reinforced concrete bunded area
  • Construction of reinforced concrete hardstand area surrounding all structures
  • Construction of a new access road and ring road to allow access to the new facility
  • Installation of new site fencing and final landscaping to tie in with existing surrounds.
